Kirsten Ivey is a local artist, raised in San Diego. Her work is often inspired by local landscapes, her Peruvian heritage, and slices of daily life. While mediums vary between watercolor, acrylics, and oils, all her work shares a common vibrancy - both in terms of color and expression. She also does many portrait commissions, both pets and people, and is honored each time she is chosen for such a meaningful piece. She has had many jobs over the years: barista, math teacher, software engineer, tattoo artist…but painting always remains her first love. She is eternally grateful to all those who support her art journey.
