Kirsten Ivey is a local artist, raised in San Diego. Her work is often inspired by local landscapes, her Peruvian heritage, and slices of daily life. Known for her vibrant color palette and expressive, painterly style, Kirsten’s work exudes joy. She aims to celebrate the beauty in the mundane. She has had many jobs over the years: barista, math teacher, software engineer, tattoo artist…but painting always remains her first love. She is eternally grateful to all those who support her art journey.
